went to a good night at the cube last night put on by bristol feminist network.

it was about  the way women are portrayed in the media and how women are represented.

badly as it turns out. and although i new this i was surprised by how badly.

if all you did was read the papers you'd think that women were these highly emotional, fuck  buckets, who fell to pieces every time any thing stressful happend.

bristol feminist network have a few actions coming up in the next month, so keep an eye out for them.

a friend of mine recently described her self as a equalitist. when i asked her what this ment, she gave me a description of a feminist (the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men) .

but i think it's the same as those libertarian socialist and their negative connotations around the word anarchist.

as you all know i like to finsh on something postive. i love being an anarchist and a feminist. and for those who feel these words have negative connotations. fuck off you cunts.
