12.00+: Fishfest 2011 begins! [Pop up parlour at 53 Grove rd 11ish – 1ish]

12.30+ Live music/open mic for local musicians throughout the afternoon

1.30-3.00: Arts and craft workshops, various activities, followed by children’s parade

2.30 + 3.30 Grand Tours of the Allotment Orchard, Thingwall Park: meet at the Orchard’s stall

3.00-3.30: Fishponds Ramshackle Orchestra sing-a-long

3.30 – 4.00: Belly dancing workshop

4.30-5.30: Tug-o-war and Fishponds Record-Breaking Joke-a-thon

5.30+: Raffle draw & BBQ [tbc]

5.45 – 7.00pm: King Rocker- back by popular demand!

7pm-10pm Barn dance with Canon Foder

9pm+ Live music at the Cross Keys

Dr Bike will be available in the afternoon - bring along your bike for a check up and find out more about cycling round the area

£1 entry: bring along good quality kids' toys, bikes, baby equipment and DIY tools to swap with something new-2-you!

There'll be a noticeboard for advertising skills, idea(l)s and other swapsies. Refreshments & Music!

Beechwood Centre are having their own Fishponds Festival saturday 17th September: craft fair, jumble, games and refreshments! (Beechwood Rd, Fishponds). Starts 10-2pm with evening entertainment too. In aid of Hop, Skip and Jump chairt for children with special needs.
