The Rovers 2011/2012 shirts are available for pre-order. The home has a collar, always looks a bit shite on football shirts in my opinion, and the away is green and black quarters. They've had that before, but it just looks a bit... weird.

Although despite all that probably still wont prevent I from forkin' over thirty seven quid for a home shirt.

Footballs worse than smack.

Yeah it's kind of good news? But as you say I cant imagine they buld terrace's. I mean I like the fact it's goming back over East...but it's the ass end of know where out there. And really we should be focusing on filling the stadium we've got, rather than spunkin a shed load on a new one.
I doubt ticket prices will come down. Actually what am I on? They be on their way up.
It all seems like a bit of a waste of money at a time we can't afford it.
Then name is proper dig shit too.

The 'UWE' stadium.

While I think a new stadium is needed, is this really the best option? Bearing in mind Rovers have just been sunk to the basement and now their banging on about a 20,000 seater stadium. Rovers avarage home attendance is more like 6,000. While phrases like 'planning for the future' are all well and good, one of the worst things for a clubs support base, is a dirty great expensive stadium with fuck all people in it.

And in the event of the 'UWE' stadium, you can say goodbye to standing terrace's, one of the things that the more 'raw' football experience of the lower leagues has over the 'family friendly' top flight.

Your Bristol geography is better than mine, council borders and such, but is this site actually in Bristol or South Gloucestershire, I know Rovers played over in Twerton Park for ten years, but what with The Shit moving into Ashton Vale, will that even leave any professional football clubs actually in the city of Bristol?

And lo and behold, who is trying to muscle into the Mem site, fucking Sainburys. Since despite gettin' a slap in their ultimately successful plans South of the river, they're now trying the same shit up the top of Gloucester Road. Presumably their fetish for taking over massive stadium sites is part of some battle tactic to combat the 32 shitty little Tescos infesting the city.

And finally the UWE stadium, what a shite fucking name. Surely the extremes of rampant comercialisation hasn't got it's clutches into football this far down the pyramid just yet. Still could be worse, Bolton Wanderers play in the Reebok Stadium and the ground of FC Dallas is called Pizza Hut Park.

Nothings sacred, specially not in modern football.

Cheers tinkerbell. I don't think fame and fortune are really on the cards, but you never know. I love working in the NHS. I work in mental health at the moment so it's a doss. I get paid for talking abit like Chris Moyles cept I'm not that fat.
It's not looking good for the NHS, but I was reading The White Paper Summary the other day and it says there will be a 45 percent cut in NHS Managers in the next year. So it's not all bad.
Keep up the good work in the Trust.
